Our story

Started in 2021 with one simple goal

ManiTheory opened in Dublin because the founders wanted a nail salon that didn't cut corners — on hygiene, on technique, or on time. No rushing clients through. No ignoring cuticles. Just consistent work done properly.

The studio now has a small, experienced team of four. Each one trained to the same standard. If you've had inconsistent experiences elsewhere, that's exactly what we were set up to fix.

We don't offer medical nail treatments. What we do offer — manicure, pedicure, gel nails, BIAB, nail art and extensions — we do carefully and reliably, Monday to Saturday.

How it works

Booking is straightforward

No queuing, no walk-in uncertainty. Here's what to expect when you book with ManiTheory.

Choose your service

Browse the services page or call us if you're unsure which treatment suits you. BIAB vs gel, for instance — it's a common question and we're happy to talk it through before you book.

Book online or by phone

Use the contact form on this site or call +353 1 296 0240. Same-day slots may be available — it's worth checking. We'll confirm your appointment by email.

Arrive on time

The studio is on Dundrum Rd in Dublin 14. Please arrive on time — if you're running late, let us know. Late arrivals may mean a shortened appointment, depending on what's scheduled after yours.

We'll talk you through aftercare if needed. If anything isn't right, contact us — we'd rather know than not.

Common questions

Things clients usually ask

Yes — appointments are required. We don't accept walk-ins. Same-day bookings are sometimes available, but not guaranteed. Booking ahead, especially for weekends, is advisable.
Gel nails are a colour coating that cures under UV — long-lasting and chip-resistant. BIAB (Builder In A Bottle) is a thicker gel that adds a structural layer to the nail, making it stronger and allowing a bit more length. BIAB is often recommended for people with weaker or brittle nails who want to grow them out.
Dundrum has paid parking available nearby at the Dundrum Town Centre car parks. On-street parking on Dundrum Rd is limited but sometimes available. We'd suggest allowing extra time. The Luas Green Line (Balally stop) is also a short walk away.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Short-notice cancellations affect our team's time significantly. No refunds are issued after a service has been completed.
